Obituary of Timothy Morgan Brown
BROWN, Timothy Morgan: Age 61 of Chambers Hill. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Tim on August 4, 2020, after his courageous battle with cancer. He was a son of the late Leslie and Joan (Whalen) Brown.
Tim worked for the city of Halifax for 32 years, with his last position as carpenter. He then worked for On Deck Construction for a short period. As an avid sports fan, he played and coached in his younger years. One of his great pleasures was spending time with his grandsons walking back to Big Rock. With the quickest, funniest wit, Tim knew how to make people laugh and smile. A man with a big heart, he would lend a helping hand to whom ever asked without expecting anything in return.
Tim will be dearly missed by wife, Catherine; sons, Nathan and Jameson; daughter, Chelsea; and grandsons, Timothy and Matthew. He also leaves his brothers, Lester, Peter and Paul; sisters, Sandra Gould, and Donna (Tim Rhodes) which he treasured; as well as his special nieces, nephews; and his good friend Donna Binson. He was predeceased by brother, Edward (Teddy).
A special thank you to the staff on 6A at the VG Hospital, VON, palliative care nurses, and Dr. Campbell. Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. In lieu of flowers, Tim would ask that any donations would be given forward to those in need. As per family wishes, there will be no service at this time.
