Thomas Richard Yanch
Thomas Richard “Rik” Yanch, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away peacefully and with dignity at his home in Grande Prairie, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer.
Rik was born in Toronto, ON, to Leo and Aileen Yanch (nee Horrigan) on November 19, 1953.
He lived in Grande Prairie for the last 42 years.
He was the beloved husband of Theresa Yanch (nee Holmes) for 30 years; father of Jeffery Yanch; step-father to Shawn and Ryan Holmes; and cherished grandfather to Colby and Sienna Holmes, and Zachary Yanch.
As the “perfect middle child” he will be missed by his siblings: Sandra Vassallo, Gary, Connie Bundy, Lorrie Cooper, Pat Gagliardi, Wendy Evert, Ron, Joe, Ken, and Cheryl Yanch, and their families.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves memories no one can steal.
