Thérèse Babineau
1925-2020
ACADIEVILLE, NB – Thérése
Babineau 94, of Acadieville passed away peacefully at the Miramichi
Regional Hospital in Miramichi on Thursday, January 9, 2020.
Born in Saint-Louis-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Basil
Richard and late Josephine (Richard) Richard. She was a
member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in
Acadieville and the Golden Age Club.
Thérèse will be sadly missed by her
daughter, Yolande Babineau (Guy) of Shortts Lake, NS; two sons,
Gérard Babineau of Acadieville and Marcel Babineau (Norma)
of Chapel Point.
She is also survived by two brothers, Fr. Gérard
Richard of Sherbrooke, QC, Raymond Richard (Aline) of Moncton;
sister-in-law, Cécile Richard of Shediac and many nieces
and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband,
Joseph Babineau; one grandson, Kody Babineau; one sister,
Irène Babineau and two brothers, Alphonse Richard and Mgr.
Arsène Richard.
Visitation will be held at Salle André
Bérube in Acadieville on Friday, January
17th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Saturday at
9:00 am until time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Immaculate
Conception Roman Catholic Church in Acadieville.
