It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing on Oct. 17th, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Jean-Louis Pitre, her parents Yvonne Gascon and Edward Gascon, her brothers Edouard Gascon, Claude Laurin, and her daughter Jeanne Pitre. Loving mother of Colette (Bill Paquette), Suzanne (William Kirk), Lise Pitre (Pierre Landry), Carol (Kieth Hughes), Léo Pitre, Jacqueline Pitre (Dan MacMillan) and Claire Pitre (Paul Stewart). Dear sisters of Suzanne Ladéroute, Rita Miller and Bernadette Lemire (Nil).
Also survived by 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A private mass for the immediate family will be held Friday October 23rd, 2020 at 10 a.m. in Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse. The family invites you to make a donation in her memory to the Arthritis Society or to a charity of your choice (by cheque or online using the funeral home website www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca).
The service will be also shown using FaceBook Live for convenience and out of town relatives. Due to the current pandemic, there will be a limit to the number of people attending. Masks are mandatory.
