Shirley Sarah Savoury (nee Caines)
July 29, 1941 – July 10, 2020
Died peacefully at the home of her son Gary, in Clarenville, on Friday, July 10th after many months of illness. Her last several weeks, were filled with visits, video chats, and calls from her beloved family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
Shirley was predeceased by: her parents Willoughby and Emily (Hayward) Caines; husbands: Nathan Pritchett, Scott Brentnall, and Neville Savoury; sons Gordon and Kevin and sister Mary.
Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are her sons Gary (Karen), Max (Pauleen), Chris (Nancy), and Gus (Crystal); daughter-in-law Kim (Raymond). Most precious to Shirley were her grandbabies: Sarah (Mark), Ben, Monica (Jordan), and Emmie (Adam); Jonathan and Mark; Joshua (Andrea) and Jacob; Gordon M. and Carmen; and Gordon E. and Maria: sister Rose and brother Albert; and a large circle of family and friends.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a funeral and celebration of life announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the St. George’s Anglican Church, Gambo or the NL Chapter of the Canadian Diabetes Association.
