Shirley Rigglesford Thursday December 3rd 2020

Peacefully passed away with loving family by her side on December 3, 2020. Predeceased by her loving husband Jim (1970), niece Darlene (1970) and sister Joyce. Dearly loved daughter of the Late Olive and Reginald Rumble. Will be sadly missed by son Michael (Susanne). Will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren David (Tina), Elyse (Brad), and great grandchildren Lexi, Claire, Callum, Jack and Norah. Dearest sister of Marilyn Dowden and Richard Rumble. Shirley worked for many years in retail with fond memories of Super X Drugs on Erie Ave. She was the recipient of the Miss Port Dover title in 1944. She generously volunteered at King Edward and Belleview Schools, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, The Sanderson Centre and many other charitable organizations. A kind and generous woman who was proud to be a resident of Eagle Place. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford. The family would appreciate donations to Canadian Mental Health Association of Brantford, Haldimand Norfolk in Shirley’s memory. The family wishes to thank St. Joseph’s Lifecare and the caring and compassionate staff on Magnolia. Mom was happy in your care . A very special thank you to Dr. John Hadley, as well.
