Sherri Lynn Blacquier MacKnight RN BN 2020 avis de deces

Sherri Lynn (Blacquier) MacKnight, R.N., B.N. of Miramichi, NB, loving wife of Tony MacKnight, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love on September 12th, 2020, at the age of 54.
Born in Miramichi, NB, and raised in Nelson, NB, she was the daughter of the late Reginald and Eleanor (McLean) Blacquier.
Sherri Lynn was a Registered Nurse of 32 years. She spent the majority of her career working in the emergency department, but later found her passion for palliative care while working with the extramural program. She was an incredibly caring and intelligent nurse. She has touched many lives, and will be remembered for her compassion and dedication to her patients.
Besides her husband and soulmate, Tony, she is survived by her three children, Megan Hardy (Travis), Jenna MacDonald (Bryce), and Riley MacKnight (Sydney Matchett); brother Raymond Blacquier (Darlene); sisters Roxanne Regan (Ralph), and Joyce Shaddick (Ronnie); mother-in-law Sandra Macknight; sisters-in-law Brenda Gillis (John), and Debra Sargent (Bobby); many nieces and nephews who she loved like her own children: Carrie, Bradley, Haleigh-Rae, Ethan, Luke, Nate, Jodie, Trevor, Tyler, Krista, Nathan, and Tari; beloved aunts, uncles, great nieces and great nephews, and an amazing group of friends that were more like family.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Robert Blacquier, father-in-law Leonard MacKnight, brother-in-law Darryl MacKnight, and nephew Jordan Sargent.
Sherri Lynn was an incredible mother, wife, sister, and friend. Her children were her whole world and she reminded them of that every day. She loved to travel, go camping, and spoil her loved ones with her amazing baking skills. She will be missed endlessly and remembered always.
Special thank you to Dr. Gerard Losier, Heather, Margie, Michelle, the extramural program, OPC, and all of the nurses and doctors involved in her journey. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Bell’s Funeral Home, 651 King George Highway, Miramichi on Monday, September 14th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St.Michael’s Basilica, Chatham on Tuesday, September 15th at 11 AM with Father John Keoughan officiating.
