Sherri Doering (nee Switlicki)
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on February 22, 2020 at 68 years of age. Reunited with her late husband Bill (2016). Loving mother of Jeff (Janel), Melissa (Dave) and bonus daughter Amy Merritt. Beloved grandmother of Dakota, Caitlin, Alexis, Brooke and Chelsea. Dear sister of Brenda (Dwight) and Colin (Debbie). Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Frieda Switlicki.
She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and friends, especially spending precious time with her grandchildren, reading and doing crafts. Her smile, laugh, humour and hugs will be missed by everyone that knew her. Sherri was a nursing student at St. Clair College achieving the Dean’s List in each year of studies. She was also a tax preparer at H&R Block for many years.
If you so desire memorial tributes to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place.
A memorial visitation celebrating Sherri’s life will be held on Saturday March 7, 2020 from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm at Families First 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841.
