Sean’s Obituary
GREENWOOD, Sean Douglas- 54, Shag Harbour, passed away at his home in Shag Harbour on February 28, 2020. Born November 17, 1965, he was the son of the late Eugene and Marguerite (Nickerson) Greenwood. Sean was the youngest of six children. Sean loved to bird watch and would proudly identify them and even named them. In his younger years he enjoyed duck and deer hunting. He also enjoyed travelling and loved trips to PEI where he made tons of friends. He loved to visit, especially when he and Cindy used to visit her grandparents, John and Marguerite and Burnley and Alice. Sean took a lot of joy in seeing his young great nieces and nephews. He was will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew him. He is survived by his fiancée, Cindy Nickerson; brothers, James (Mary), Shag Harbour; Marvin (Caroline), Shag Harbour; Kevin (Marta), Woods Harbour; Morgan (Carole), Barrington; sister, Judith (James), NB; nieces and nephews; Cody, Gareth, Margaret, Kerr, Kristy, Troy, Denise, Jacklyn, and Sheldon. He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Marguerite Greenwood. There will be a visitation held Tuesday, 3-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, March 4, 2 p.m. at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, with Pastor Phil Williams officiating. Interment to follow in the Old Farm Cemetery, Shag Harbour. Memorial donations may be made to the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
