Vanderkolk, “Sandy” Onno Alexander
Passed away peacefully at Matthews House Hospice surrounded by family and in the arms of his loving wife of 52 years. Predeceased by his parents Gerrit and Huberta. Cherished husband of Diane. Loving father of Thomas, Andrew, Bradley, Shawna and Jared. Proud “Bucka” of 21 grandchildren. Dear brother of Deborah, Patricia and Linda. He will be lovingly remembered by his extended family in Prince Edward County and as a respected and loved leader, teacher and brother to his Latter Day Saints church family.
Friends and family will be received at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. (Please use the RSVP section or contact the funeral home to schedule a visitation time.) A private family service will be held. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery. To honour the exceptional care Sandy received at Matthews House, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Matthews House Hospice.
