Peacefully, surrounded by her children on Tuesday January 21, 2020. Sandy was the devoted Mom of Vicki (Matt) Lynch and John (Lora) Calleya. She was the cherished Nana of her adored grandchildren, Katie and Quinnie Lynch and Camdyn, Keaton and Kennedy Calleya. A loving Sister to Bob (Mary Louise) Leitch. Beloved Daughter of the late Archie and Doreen Leitch, and Daughter-in-Law of the late Don and Marion Calleya. Family was so important to Sandy. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by Margaret (Bill) Redman, Lynn (Ken) Shaw, Kathie (Ollie) Ronson, Vicki (Don) Minshall, Ken Calleya, Joyce Calleya, and Don Calleya as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Sandy was a long-time employee of the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board, and previous to that she worked at Massey Ferguson. A special thank you to the many friends and family that supported Sandy throughout her journey. And thank you to the care teams at the BGH, the Willet Hospital and the John Noble Home. Family and friends will be received at the Toll Funeral Home, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 11am. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated. www.tollfh.ca
