It is with great sadness that the family of Wilson (Willy) Sanders announce his passing on September 6th, 2020, with his loving wife of 72 years, Ruth Sanders, by his side and surrounded by his children and their families.
Wilson is survived by his children, Chris (Gail) Sanders, Debbie (Brian) Mack, William (Ruthie) Sanders, Emmy (Ron) Lewis and Vera (Walter) Pearce.
His grandchildren Shari (Jeff) Tymo, Robert Sanders (Heidi), Lori Mack (Kevin), Lisa Mack, Cassia (Alain) Charron, Tara Sanders (Jamie), Trevor (Amanda) Sanders, Crystal (Alan) Wilton, Amy (Morris) Lewis, Lesleigh (Daryl) Presley, Nicole (Justin) Ryan, Amanda Pearce (Darren), Melissa (Gordon) Glover, Joanne (Rolando) Villalta, Holly (Danilo) Umana.
His great-grandchildren, Aaron and Sydney, Declan, Fynn and Kellyn, Alyssa and Kortlyn, Belle and Levi, Colton and Raelyn, Cody, Curtis and Hailey, Meghan, Nathan, Dwayne, Jennifer and Chelsea, Ethan and Emma, Mikaela, Amiyah, Sebastien, Dylan and Logan, Emma and Jalen, Kaylee, Jordan, Cruz and Paris, Shannon and Kaitlyn, Jaymee, Dominic and Ashlyn, Mateo, Eva, Malachi, Malia and Emerson. Great, great grandchildren Sasha-Lyne, Darcie, Chase, Everly and Brooklyn. As well as many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and church family.
Wilson was predeceased by his sons James and Dennis Sanders, granddaughter Karrie Mack and great, grandson Miguel Umana.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Light Up Your Life Society in Stony Plain in memory of Wilson Sanders for home care equipment to support families caring for palliative patients at home.
