Mrs. Russelle (Rusty) Everett of Nanton, Alberta passed away following a courageous battle with cancer on May 22, 2020 at the age of 70 years. Rusty is survived by her husband Rick; children Dawna Backhouse (Scott), Terrie McKenzie (Ray), Lori Snooks (Adam), Andrew Everett (Cheryl), nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Rusty is also survived by sister Cheslyn Ogier, brother Guy Langton, and half brother Guy Douglas Langton. She was predeceased by her Mother Winona Russell, Father Douglas Langton, Brother Charles Langton and half sister Terri Langton.
Rusty was born in Kelwood, Manitoba and grew up in Atikokan, Ontario, where she met and married the love of her life Rick in 1968k. After a few years in Wabush Labrador, Rick and Rusty settled down in Fort McMurray where they stayed for thirty years and raised their family. In 2005 Rusty and Rick retired to the Town of Nanton. Rusty was devoted to raising and being involved with her family which was the most important role in her life. She was known among family and friends for her kind heart, infectious smile and her willingness to share her love with everyone. Although Rusty is no longer here with us in the physical world, the memory of her love and kindness will remain in our hearts forever.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions a Celebration of Rusty’s Life will be held at a later date.
