Obituary of Roy Douglas Harvey
Roy Douglas Harvey passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, February 8, 2020. He was 82 years age. Mr. Harvey retired from Abitibi as a camp cook. Predeceased by his wife Ethel, parents Wilson & Marion Harvey, step-mother Bernice and brother Raymond (Joyce) Harvey. He leaves to mourn his loving daughter Roxanne (Jerry Hong) and sisters Joan Rendall, Betty Barnes, Helen Brown; step-sisters Corina (Darin) Ryan, Pauline Harvey; brothers Herbert Harvey, Ivan (Irene) Harvey, Donnie (Margaret) Harvey; step-brothers Edward (Lisa) Harvey, Nevelle Harvey, Rodney Harvey and Cory (Ula) Harvey. Also leaving to mourn many other relatives and friends. Pastor Greg Patey will conduct the funeral service from Calvary Pentecostal Tabernacle, Bishop’s Falls on Thursday, February 13th at 1 PM. He will be laid to rest by his beloved wife, Ethel at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Bishop’s Falls. Pallbearers are Donnie Harvey, Geoffrey Keough, Adam Keough, Kristopher Fudge, Kent Fudge and Harold Snow. Honorary pallbearer is Keith Hart. Roy enjoyed assisting with the Breakfast Program in Bishop’s Falls for many years. Therefore donations in his memory can be made to the Kids Eat Smart Foundation.
