Rosalind Lorraine Sullivan
June 20, 1951 – September 02, 2020
It is with hearts full of love and an abundance of admiration the family of Rosalind Sullivan announce her passing after a courageous battle with Cancer on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.
Rosalind’s kind and generous spirit was loved by all who knew her. In her professional life she spent 20+ years as medical secretary with Dr. Paul Jackman greeting patients with a bright smile and genuine compassion. She spread her fighting spirit and love for life with everyone around her. She thoroughly enjoyed getting together with life- long friends or having a gathering on Friday night with the Happy Hour crowd. Rosalind’s whole world was her three girls and her two grandchildren. Her love was a constant inspiration and will continue to guide them through life.
Rosalind is predeceased by her parents William and Mary Hussey and brother Gary. Leaving to celebrate her life are her daughters, Krista, Lori Mallard (Chris) and Jennifer (Jason Wall) and their father Paul; her precious grandchildren Ryan and Sarah Mallard; Sister Jean Noseworthy (Malcolm); brother Wayne Hussey (Donna); sister in law Dianne Hussey; special friends Barbara and Graham Whalen, Lois and Patrick O’Keefe and Julie and Roger Gale; employer and friend Dr. Paul Jackman (Sandra) as well as a large circle of family and friends.
We would like to thank Dr. Deborah Bergstrom and the Hematology team at ATP for their excellent care and dedication to our mother along her journey. We would also like to thank the Palliative Care team along with April Adams RN, Community Health for their support and guidance during this difficult time.
Cremation has taken place, visitation on Friday, September 4, from 3pm-7pm at Cauls Funeral Home, Torbay. Funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday September 5, 2020 from All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Pouch Cove at 2pm.
Flowers greatly accepted or donations may be made in memory to Daffodil Place.
