Ronald Bennett McLenaghan, 66, of Providence Forge, VA, formerly of Napan, New Brunswick passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020.
A true Canadian man, he would lend a helping hand wherever and whenever needed. Anyone who knew him knew he was full of life. His love for animals led him to Standardbred race horses including owning, breeding, training and driving many of his favorite horses to the winners circle. He was a self-employed concrete worker by trade and owner-operator of Canuck Construction.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Elda McLenaghan. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Wendy McLenaghan; three sons, Kristopher (Chantal), Andy and Ryan McLenaghan; two daughters, Tammy Crosby (Bryan) and Stacey McLenaghan (Corey); two sisters, Debbie Knowles and Heather Carroll; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Providence Forge Fire and Rescue Squad, or Parkinson’s Research.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ronald McLenaghan 2020..
