Ronald’s Obituary
DEVEAU, Ronald Joseph “Ronnie Brick” – Ronnie passed away comfortably at home surrounded by his wife and family on July 7th. Born in Mavillette on September 17, 1956 he was a son of Angele (Titus) and the late Leo Deveau. Survived by his loving wife, Lorraine Deveau; son, Jason (Lise) Deveau; step-son, Reggie Taylor; step-daughters, Jennifer Taylor and Ashley Mullen; brother, Roland (Michelle) Deveau; sisters, Denise (Don) Saulnier, Jeannine (Lester) Comeau and Karen (Glenn) Dahlgren; many step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In Ronnie’s early years he took his masonry Trade giving him the nickname Ronnie Brick. He was owner and operator of Pine and Barrel Furniture. Ronnie worked out west as a construction crew member for Driver’s and then locally as a carpenter. Ronnie could build anything as long as he had wood, hammer and nails. He recently built an addition on the Seniors Boarding Home his wife owned, where he was looking forward to retiring. Even though Ronnie was a quiet man his smile would light up the darkest room. He had so much love for his wife, fur baby Stella and son Jason, and was proud of them and would take the time to tell anyone who would listen. After a long day of work you could usually find Ronnie relaxing on his patio with a nice cold beer, watching the beautiful sunsets overlooking Mavilette Beach. The family would like to send out a big thank you to the VON staff for their loving care they gave to him and family. As per Ronnie’s wishes there will be no formal service. Arrangements have been entrusted to H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be sent to huskilson@ns.aliantzinc.ca or you may sign the guest book at www.huskilson.net
