HUTLEY, Ronald James
Passed away peacefully at Trenton Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, June 9th, 2020. Beloved husband of Ruth Hutley (Parks) for 69 years. Ron has lived in Trenton for the past 89 years. He worked on the CN Railroad in his early years, then became a 3rd class engineer, and worked at Domtar in Trenton until his retirement in 1986. After retirement, he enjoyed many things in life. He enjoyed camping at Cedardale, was a avid fisherman and hunter, loved doing puzzles, playing horse shoes, shuffleboard and cribbage. He was a member of the 110 Trenton Legion. Ron was well known for his yearly yard sales and the repairing of fishing equipment. Ronald was the son of George Hutley and Evelyn (Cooney). Brother to George Hutley Jr. (late wife Lois) and Judy Medcalf (friend Bill). Loving father of Nancy May (Rod), Steven Hutley, Brian Hutley (Becky) and Vicki Meadows (Coy). Proud grandfather to Kevin, Michelle, Theresa, Dillon, Matthew and Michael. In keeping with Ron’s wishes cremation arrangements have been made with QUINTE CREMATION & BURIAL SERVICES LTD. 205 N. Front St. Belleville (613-962-7900). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a Celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date. If desired memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Trenton Br #110 or the Salvation Army are appreciated. Ron was loved by many and will be missed deeply by all family and friends.
