Obituary for Ron Tack
Ronald Marcel Tack, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away suddenly at the CKHA Sydenham Campus on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the age of 66. Ron is the son of Etienne & the late Sally (DeWagner) Tack. Beloved husband of Betty. Loving father of Adam Tack (Debbie), Candy Brown (Jeff), Kristyna Roocroft (Greg Turmel) and Kevin Roocroft. Loving grandfather of Autumn, Hayden, Braylon, Harrison, Lilly, River, Ava, Bently and Emily. Best friend to Daisy. He will be sadly missed by his many friends. He had worked for Libbey Glass and Compugen where he retired this June. He was a well-known DJ in Wallaceburg and at Klondyke Park in Grand Bend. Ron was very active in his community as a member of the Trinity United Church Choir and serving as a Town Councilor and the boards of the local hospital and police commission. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A private family funeral will be held with interment in Riverview Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, reservations are required and may be made by clicking here > signup.com/go/zGfHEtR < or by calling the funeral home. Masks and social distancing are mandatory. If desired, remembrances to the new Wallaceburg hospital through the CKHA Foundation may be left at the funeral home 519.627.3231.
