Obituary of Robert Jenkins
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Jenkins with his daughter Kathy and son-in-law Jim by his side at the F.J. Davey Home on Sunday, November 29, 2020.
Husband of the late Katherine (Kay) Jenkins. Father of Kathy Lajoie (Jim), Donald Hepburn and Susie Hepburn-Holt (Tom). Grandpa of Steven Lajoie (Niki), Mathew Lajoie (Vicki) and Drew Holt. Great Grandpa of Charles, Cash and Mason Lajoie. Brother of the late Rita Rochon (late Comb), late Helen George (late Phil) and the late Dorothy Murphy (late Terry). Brother-in-law to Nancy Avery (late Zane), Marnie Telka (Ted) and Debbie McCormack (Gerry). Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
A beloved local jazz musician, Bob lived to entertain through music and song and would always look to fill a room with laughter by unloading one of his many “corny” jokes on a whim. He will be missed by many.
Memorial Donations to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) in Bob’s name would be appreciated. A private celebration with immediate family will take place at a later date. We would like to thank the staff at the F.J. Davey Home, Birch 2 for all their care and compassion. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Robert
