The death occurred peacefully in his sleep at the Colville Manor, Souris on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 of Robert Harrison Jackson. He was aged 85 years and formerly of Red House, PE.
Beloved brother to Hazel MacInnis, Basil (Maureen), Selma Creamer (Arnold), Bim (Eileen), Susan and brother-in-law to Graham Neale. He will be lovingly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews and extended MacDonald family. Predeceased by his parents Sellens and Agnes Jackson, sisters Marion Jackson, Helen Jackson-Neale and brother-in-law Percy MacInnis. Robert had a deep respect for his community and will be forever remembered for his love of horses and farming. He was a regular attendee and board member of the Dundas plowing match and was proud to win several awards. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Colville Manor for the excellent care given to their brother and give special attention to Lucas Peters for his care and friendship to Robert.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours for family only. A private graveside service will take place at the Bay Fortune United Church Cemetery. If so desired, donations in memory of Robert can be made to the Colville Manor or the Bay Fortune United Church Cemetery Fund.
