Robert Chauvet 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Chauvet announces his passing on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 73 years of age.
Robert’s life was mutually enriched by those who predeceased him: his son, Louis; parents, Paul and Simone Chauvet; sister, Paulette and brothers, Maurice (Simonne) and Michel (Ellen).
Robert leaves behind his wife, Hein Ho and their two children, Pierre and Sophie as well as his children from his first marriage with Jeanne Gagné, Suzanne (Don) and Paulette (Greg) and 4 grandchildren; surviving brothers, Raymond (Nicole), Ernest (Lorretta), Gerald (Dominique) and his sisters, Rose-Marie (Claude) and Anita (Roberto) will all miss their entrepreneurial brother.
Robert lived life as an adventure with challenges to be welcomed and to overcome. Involved in residential construction from an early age in the Legal area, he then pursued as a builder and developer in Morinville. His challenges in construction included spearheading the family project “Manoir Savenay”, the saving and retrofitting of the Notre Dame Historical Convent and the building of the Chauvet-Ho Apartments.
Other major development projects include, Morinville Heritage Village Estates Ltd. and Roy Avenue Developments. However, the project that best represents his youthful spirit, his sense of vision and out of the box thinking was the conceptualizing and construction of the Fable Gardens in Morinville.
Robert will be missed by his immediate family, his nephews, nieces and those who have worked with him and for him over the years. He would thank all of you for being a part of his life.
