Robert ‘Bob’ MacLeod, died in peace alongside his beloved daughter, Taviana-Jean and wife, Renata, on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020. Always armoured with a book in hand, Bob will be remembered as a profoundly kind and principled man with a remarkable sense of humour. An accomplished poet, Bob was active among Ottawa’s literary community since the late 1960s. Kind enough to bless various stages with his wise and formidable presence, his work and writing often reflected struggles for labour and social justice. Unique to himself, a lifelong lover of juice, foot stomping and fiddles, Bob is also survived by his three nephews (Andrew, Robert and James MacLeod), his close friends and his brotherhood of union representatives. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.
