Obituary
Bob passed away peacefully in his sleep at home the morning of December 4th, 2020. He had multiple medical problems in his final years, but continued to astonish everyone, even his doctors, by recovering. He knew his time was limited, and just wanted to go home to be with Elaine and his dog, and build his models, which he was fortunate enough to do.
He will be deeply missed by Elaine, his dogs Hachi and Angel, his sister Deb (Ried) Harcus, and brother Irvine (Chrissy) Leverington. He leaves two 2 children from his first marriage, Jimmy and Jilian, 5 step-children, Kevin (Tamara), Shawna, Kelsey, Daniel, and Steven, 2 grandchildren, Scarlet and Deacon, nephews Mike (Heather) Pare, and David Leverington. He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Flora Leverington several years ago.
Bob was a mechanic most of his life and loved working on car and truck models. He himself enjoyed cooking, and also raved about Elaine’s cooking, especially her cottage cheese perogies and meatballs. His favorite character was the Swedish chef from the Muppets and he loved the song “I’m All Right” from the movie Caddyshack.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hunter for his excellent medical care. Also, a big thank-you to our Church Family at Crescent Heights Chapel for your support and being there for Bob!
