Rita Margaret Wolfe (nee Waechter), of Walkerton, passed away at Stratford General Hospital, Stratford on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the age of 81.
Beloved wife of Tom. Loving mother of Greg (Connie) of Chepstow, Valarie Garcia of Kitchener, Susan (Andy) Dales of Teeswater and Darren (Tracy) of Orillia. Cherished grandmother of Steven (Mary Beth), Nelson, Isaac (Courtney), Brianne, Emily, Brick and Gunner and great-grandmother of Harper, Jaxon and Ellie. Dear sister of Rhoda (Bill) Noll of Teeswater and Gerard Waechter of Durham and sister-in-law of Geraldine Waechter of Kitchener and Sylvia Waechter of Southampton.
Rita was predeceased by her granddaughter Avery Dales; son-in-law Helio Garcia; brothers Albert and Alfred Waechter; sister Mary (Carl) Riest; sister-in-law April Waechter and parents William and Bernolda (nee Bruder) Waechter.
Due to the current protocols for Covid-19, there will be no visitation.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton at 11:00 a.m. with no reception to follow. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Spring interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
