Richard Miles
1968-2020
It is with immense sadness that the family of
Richard (Ricky) Miles announce his sudden passing at 51 years young on
August 8, 2020 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident
earlier last week.
Ricky will be lovingly remembered and truly missed by his
twin brother Ronald Miles (Heather Dunford), aunt Dorice Allain (Leo),
uncle Donald Cormier (Murielle), cousins Martin, Gabrielle, Eric and
Luc and numerous other special family, friends and colleagues. Ricky
was predeceased by his loving mother, Lauria Miles.
Ricky was very passionate regarding his work with children at
the school district as well as his work with special needs children
whom he adored and created special bonds with over the years, notably
James and his family. We will all miss his quirky love for diet coke
and his passion for bringing happiness to others with his joie de
vivre. He was also known for taking long drives in his cherished 1992
Chevy Cavalier convertible (Prunelle) with “Me, myself and
I” with whom he took his final journey.
Ronnie would like to express his sincere thanks and gratitude
to all Ricky’s friends who expressed their love and support
over the last week.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007). A celebration of Ricky’s life
will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 1 – 3 PM
at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Donations in
memory of Ricky can be made to the Volunteer Centre of Southeastern
New Brunswick (Family Support Services), 22 Church St T290, Moncton,
