Richard Babineau
1967-2020
Richard Babineau, 52, of Cocagne, passed away peacefully at home,
surrounded by his wife on Wednesday January 1, 2020. He was married
to Anna (Melanson) Babineau. Born in Waltham, Mass., he was the son
of Noé and Annette (Henrie) Babineau.
He will be sadly missed by his parents Noé and Annette Babineau
of Bouctouche, his wife Anna and his two children; Jennifer Babineau
(Shawn Bell) of Moncton and Shawn of Dieppe. He also leaves to mourn
his brother Daniel (Linda) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, his three nieces;
Lyne, Annie and Mélanie, his mother-in-law; Jeanne Melanson and
his brother-in-law, Robert (Rachel) of Saint-Thomas-de-Kent.
He was predeceased by his father-in-law; Roger Melanson.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church
Slumber Room, Cocagne on Tuesday January 7, 2020 from 2 to 3:45 pm. A
funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday January 7, 2020 at 4:00 pm
with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring.
In Richard’s memory, donations to the family would be
appreciated.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the
Extra-Mural, and a couple of people that accompanied Richard in his
illness, Edgar and Nadia.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
