It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rhonda Ann Adams, on May 23, 2020, at the age of 52.
Cherished mother of Tameka Rae. She will also be deeply missed by her parents, Sandra and Arden Adams, her brothers Craig (Pascale) and Cory (Valerie), nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Although Rhonda was on the earth for a short period of time, what she accomplished far outweighed her time here. Rhonda’s never-ending zest to explore and study meant she dove into the many different avenues that our universe has to offer. She studied the music, religions, cultures, medicine and music of the world.
Rhonda was very artistic and spent time doing many different crafts, painting, crochet, needlepoint and decorating. Lighting up life even through her creativity. She loved music and loved to sing. She had an infectious laugh and shared it often. Her positivity and strength was the reason she excelled at most things she tried. Her tenacious spirit meant she never gave up and showed everyone how strong she was in dealing with her illness.
Rhonda loved her family. As the big sister to her two brothers and the beloved daughter to her parents, she led the way with an infectious and unapologetic love of life. As a wonderful mother, she lived for her daughter. She instilled in her a deeper understanding of life. She told her beautiful Tameka that she wanted her to remember that the most important thing was to stay ‘true to her heart always.’ Words we should all live by.
Rhonda was truly loved and will be deeply missed.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Jewish General Hospital of Montréal for their wonderful support and care.
Burial will take place at a later date, once we are all able to gather together.
