BÉLANGER, Raymond
The family announces with sorrow his passing in Sudbury, Monday, November 23, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Colette (née Arel) Bélanger and of the late Dolores (née Lamothe) Bélanger. Son of the late Aurèle and of the late Gertie (née Dubreuil) Bélanger. Loving father of Micheline Bélanger (Guy Lachapelle), Jean Bélanger (Monique) both of Sudbury and Gilles Bélanger (Genevieve) of Hanmer. Dear brother of Gérald Bélanger (Angela) of Sudbury, Maurice Bélanger (Regina) of Sturgeon Falls and Robert Bélanger (Darlene) of Thunder Bay. Cherished grandfather of Mélanie, Eric, Stéphanie, Alex, Danielle, Véronique, Benoit, Chantal, Justyn, Céline, great-grandfather of Roxanne, Jaimie, Samuel, Christian, Carson, and Ethan. He will be sadly missed by his stepchildren Martin Lefrançois (Greta Castillo) and Annie Lefrançois (Wayne Smith) both of Toronto and by step-grandchildren Maria Lucia, René, and Zion. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care & support provided by the Extendicare Falconbridge staff. A special thanks to Dr. Roch for his many years of care. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Due to the current pandemic and its restrictions, a limited amount of people will be allowed into church and masks are required.
