Obituary for
Raymond J St.Martin
It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sturgeon Falls, on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the age of 72 years. Raymond will be forever loved by his wife of 53 years and best friend Marianne (née Tremblay) St-Martin and their two children, Pauline (Preston) and Daniel (Betty-Joe). Predeceased by his loving parents Rene and Eva. Raymond will also be remembered by his 9 grandchildren, Chantal, Natalie, Derrick (Tanisha), David, Katie-Lynn, Theresa, Rory, Cordell, great-grandchildren Holly, Casper, Emmi, Zoey and great-great-grandchild Avery. Dear sister Simone (Mark), Florine (Ken), Suzanne (Paul) and brother Yvon (Linda). Predeceased by his brothers Roger (Jean) and Marcel. Sadly, missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and cherished friends Lorraine (late Roger) and Lynne. Raymond was loved by everyone. He was an accomplished musician and had a career of 28 years of service at Falconbridge. He enjoyed the next 25 years of retirement travelling abroad with his wife boo and more recently South of the border with his Texas friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of the West Nipissing General Hospital of Sturgeon Falls for taking such compassionate care of their beloved Raymond. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday, March 20, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Chapel. In light of the current coronavirus pandemic, out of concern for everyone’s health, there will be a limitation on the number of visitors permitted at the funeral home.
