Pat McAlpine, beloved husband of Cindy, loving father of Jocelin & Logan of Tweed and Layne & Monica of McArthurs Mills, doting grandfather of Darla, Jemma and Jack, beloved son of the late M.J (Nub) & Delphine and dear brother of Anne & Bob Sproule of Stoney Creek, Mike & Annie of L’Amable and the late Jen. Pat grew up in Bancroft and took all of his schooling here. For a time he worked as a survey technician in his father’s surveying business and then for 15 years was employed with Ontario Hydro. He will be remembered for his amazing woodworking skills, for his love for spending time with his grandchildren and their pets and his fondness for hunting, ATVing, golfing, fishing, hockey and down hill skiing.
