Obituary of Patricia Jean Leishman
Patricia Jean Leishman, b. April 27, 1943 – d. September 2, 2020
Patty was born and raised in McKellar Park, Ottawa.
She had fond memories of Pembroke; swimming and enjoying family and friends during the summer.
She attended Nepean High School and then participated in one of the last Ottawa Civic Hospital Registered Nursing programs. She worked at the Civic Hospital following her graduation.
Mom spent much of nursing career working in Long Term Care, where she helped many families.
She was kind and supportive to these families during this challenging time in their lives.
She continued to use her nursing skills while in semi-retirement in Florida.
Bass Lake was her home where she resided for more than 20 years.
She enjoyed dangling her feet in the lake with a good book. She loved the birds, flowers and chipmunks.
She cherished her only grandchild, Chloe and being a Nana was her greatest love.
