Patricia Florence Marie DeGagne
March 8, 1965 – September 23, 2020
It is with heavy hearts and sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Patricia (Pat) DeGagne on September 23, 2020 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 55.
Pat was predeceased by her first two younger brothers Robert and Gerald as babies. She leaves to mourn her passing, her parents Emile and Joan, sister Cindy (Darren), brother Paul (Monique), sister Amanda (Morley), loving partner Cary, several nephews and nieces, and her beloved fur babies.
Pat was the first born child of six siblings at the Women’s Pavilion on March 8, 1965. Pat grew up in Windsor Park, attending school at Frontenac, General Vanier, Beliveau Jr High and graduating at Pierre Raddison Collegiate in 1983. Pat worked as a bookkeeper for several different companies over the years, notably; Arnold Bros Transport, Harley Davidson of Winnipeg, DJN Services and BIL Security Services. Pat was a quiet and solitary soul that poured so much love and attention into her many animals, treating them as her own children. It was on those rare occasions when Pat would be with friends and family, where her laughter would fill the room and affect everyone, that her personality truly shined through. Pat’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Cary for being such a big part of Pat’s life and loving her unconditionally.
While Pat was a tiny lady, she’s left a big hole in the hearts of everyone who loved her.
In accordance with Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place and due to Covid-19, a private family service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat’s memory to Manitoba Underdogs Rescue or a charity of your choice.
