Obituary of Orville Lancelot Campbell
The passing of Orville Lancelot Campbell of Fredericton, NB, husband of Rhona (McKay) Campbell , occurred on Monday, November 30, 2020 at York Care Centre. Born on September 8, 1931 in Upper Blackville , NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Violet (Arbeau) Campbell. Orville was the owner and operator of Campbell TV Services. He was a member of Nashwaaksis Baptist Church .
Orville is survived by his sons, Rick Campbell (Joanne) of Eastern Passage, NS and Doug Campbell (Marcela) of The Woodlands, Texas ; grandson, Ben; sister, Janet Black (Larry) of Stow , Mass; brother, Floyd Campbell (Marjorie) of Upper Blackville , NB ; several nieces and nephew. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Thelma Campbell; brothers, Lee, Carl and Glen Campbell.
Due to the current health situation, a Funeral Service by invitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 2 pm with Pastor Chris Bennett officiating. The public are invited to attend via. www.yorkfh.com funeral webcast. Interment will be in Dayton Cemetery . Special thank you to the staff at York Care Centre for the exceptional care they provided during Orville’s time there.
