Obituary of Orville Lancelot Campbell
The passing of Orville Lancelot Campbell of Fredericton, NB, husband of Rhona (McKay) Campbell , occurred on Monday, November 30, 2020 at York Care Centre. Born on September 8, 1931 in Upper Blackville , NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Violet (Arbeau) Campbell. Orville was the owner and operator of Campbell TV Services. He was a member of Nashwaaksis Baptist Church .
Orville is survived by his sons, Rick Campbell (Joanne) of Eastern Passage, NS and Doug Campbell (Marcela) of The Woodlands, Texas ; grandson, Ben; sister, Janet Black (Larry) of Stow , Mass; brother, Floyd Campbell (Marjorie) of Upper Blackville , NB ; several nieces and nephew. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Thelma Campbell; brothers, Lee, Carl and Glen Campbell.
Due to the current health situation, a Funeral Service by invitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 2 pm with Pastor Chris Bennett officiating. The public are invited to attend via. www.yorkfh.com funeral webcast. Interment will be in Dayton Cemetery . Special thank you to the staff at York Care Centre for the exceptional care they provided during Orville’s time there. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Parkinson Society of Canada or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
