KEEBLE, O’RENA MAE (HUTCHINSON ) – North River/Bible Hill
It is with profound sadness that the family of O’Rena Keeble announces her passing on November 6, 2020 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre after a brief illness at the age of 100. She was born in Lockhartville, Kings Co. on February 25, 1920 to the late Kenneth and O’Rena (Smith) Hutchinson.
She is survived by her five children: Virginia Forbes, Georgetown Ont., Evelyn (Wayne) McCormick, Norma (Fred) Symes, Stephen Keeble all of Bible Hill, N.S. and Ross (Teresa) Keeble , Chatham, Ont. Grandchildren Mark Symes, David (Natasha) Symes, Trisha (John) MacInnes, Stephanie (Jeff Withers) Forbes, Kevin Forbes and Greg (Laura) Forbes. Great Grandchildren Katie, Kenny, Charlton, Joel, Emma, Isabella, Abagail, Anna and Becka. Also survived by a half-sister Vicki Hanes and half-brother Gerald (Margaret) Hutchinson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur Keeble, sister Marjorie West, brother Waldo Hutchinson and son-in-law Murray Forbes.
Mom loved cooking family dinners and a good game of cards. She was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
