Obituary of Olga Haluik
With deep sadness and broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Olga Haluik on December 20, 2020 at the age of 95. Loving Mother of Debbie (Peter) Zabluda, Deanna O’Connor (Terry), Dolores (Barry) Webster, Danny (the late Gail), and David (Susan). Cherished Baba of Jennifer (Ethan) and the late Michael, Barbara and Kelly (Stu), Sally and Brian (Brandy), Kevin (Sara) and Krista (Dustin), Colin (Allison) and Laura. Great-grandmother of ten. Predeceased by 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Survived by sister Elsie (Alex) Camponi, sister-in-law Irene Olynyk, and many nieces and nephews. Olga was a kind, selfless, hard-working woman with a heart of gold. Family meant everything to her. After retiring from Eaton’s, Olga was an active volunteer, enjoyed travelling, and organizing seniors social events. Thank you to Ridgeview LTC staff for their care and compassion over the last four years. Special thanks to MaryJane and Vesna. Cremation has taken place. Due to Covid restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
