Obituary of Norman Wilson Osmond
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norman Osmond announces his passing on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at home with his loving family by his side at the age of 79. Born in Port aux Basques, he was the son of the late George and Mildred (Pope) Osmond. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Marion (nee Allen) of 59 years, his sons, Shawn (Glenda) Osmond, Jan (Tracey) Osmond, grandchildren, Cody and Fallon Osmond, Beth Leriche and Jessica Mallard, his pride and joy great grandson Nash, brothers, Roy (Grace) Osmond, Dave (Betty) Osmond, and Ronnie (Joanne) Osmond, brothers and sisters in laws, Edgar Allen, Judith Osmond, Subina (Kenneth) Forsyth, Christine (John) Spencer and Christine Allen and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Norman was predeceased by brothers, Archibald (Margaret) Osmond, Donald Osmond, brothers and sisters in laws, John (Mae) Allen, Wilson Allen and Marina Allen. In keeping with Norman’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service by request. In lieu of flower donations may be made to the Cancer Society or charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements were in the care of Oceanside Funeral home, 23 Read Street, Port aux Basques. 695-7010.
