DEVOS, Nellie
peacefully at home, with her family at her side, Nellie passed away on Sunday, January 5th, 2020, at the age of 76. Loving mother of Linda (Jim) Box and Chris (Tara) Devos. Much loved nana of Julia and Amanda and grandmother of Skylar, K.J., Mattson, Johnny, Cara and Christopher and great-grandmother of Jayda. Dear sister of Christine (the late Allan) Metcalfe and aunt of Nadine and Bradley. She will also be missed by her special friend Alan Mackinnon as well as many other family members and friends. The matriarch of Ketchabuz for over 19 years, earlier in life she worked for Koster and Caswell as a real estate agent and spent many years in the hospitality industry. Many thanks to the nursing staff of the BGH 6th floor, Bayshore Outreach and Dr. McNeil for all their care and dedication. At Nellie’s request cremation has already taken place and friend are invited to a Celebration of her Life on Tuesday (today), January 7th, from 4-9 p.m. at Ketchabuz, 45 Murray Street. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HILL and ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE, 519-752-2543. Donations to the Brant S.P.C.A. would be greatly appreciated.
