Nellie Novak October 2 1924 August 8 2020 avis de deces

It is with great sadness and a sense of loss that we announce the passing of Nellie Novak, lately of Burnaby, BC, in her 96th year. Nellie, a wonderful aunt and great aunt, died peacefully on August 8, 2020.
Nellie was born October 2, 1924 in Denmark, coming to Canada as a young girl. She lived in various places in Canada before settling in Burnaby for the last 40 years. She is pre-deceased by her husband Victor, parents Andrea and Neils, brothers Tom, Bill, and Vern, and sisters Ruth and Rose.
Nellie was a life force – she had a wonderful sense of humour and was always ready to joke around. She loved going out for dinner and meeting her friends.
She will be missed by her nieces Ingrid, Charlene, Laura, and Linda and her nephew Eldon; her many great-nieces and nephews, and her friends.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff of Unit 2D of Burnaby Hospital for taking such great care of her. We would also like to thank Celia, Steve, Robert and the wonderful manager and staff of the dining room, as well as all the staff of the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown for the wonderful welcome they always had for her and her family.
In keeping with Nellie’s wishes, there will be no service. For those that wish to honour her memory a donation to BC Lung Association or a charity of their choice would be appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Nellie Novak October 2 1924 August 8 2020..
