Obituary of Neil Gordon MacDonald
Neil Gordon MacDonald age 79, of Westville and formally of Springville passed away in the Palliative Care Unit, Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow on January 1st, 2020 with his wife Phyllis by his side.
Born in Springville he was a son of the late Douglas and Florence (Reid) MacDonald.
Neil loved country western music and dancing. Neil was a caring person with a wonderful sense of humour. He loved spending time in his garden and vegetable beds and tending to his plants. He was always a source of pride inspiration and courage for his family.
Neil is survived by his wife Phyllis (Lamb), daughter Rhonda (Mike), sons Larry and Randy, grandson Matthew Fillmore, brother Arthur (Pat), Clementsport.
Predeceased by his sisters Daisy MacKean, Carolea Macintosh, brothers Roland, Peter, Hughie, and Freddy.
There will be visitation Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the HW Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral will be held Monday at 2 pm in Christ the Anglican Church, Stellarton, Rev. Darlene Jewers presiding. Family flowers only, donations in memory of Neil may be made to the Palliative Care Unit or Christ Church Roofing Fund.
