Neil Mosher Sturgeon 1925-

Neil Mosher Sturgeon of Lacolle, Quebec passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga,Ontario after a brief illness on May 2, 2020. Neil was predeceased by Ann Marie Barrière, his beloved wife of sixty –five years. Proud father of Dan Sturgeon (Deborah), Mississauga, Ontario; Gary Sturgeon (Lynda), Campbell River, B.C.; Linda Lemieux (Michael) Rouses Point, N.Y. Neil will be missed by his grandchildren, Jason Lemieux (Amy), Mikey Lemieux (Maureen), Jesse Sturgeon (Hetal), Meghan Archer (David), Andrew Sturgeon (Janeen), David Sturgeon (Crystal), and Kathleen Chmelyk (Kelsey) and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his brother, Ray Sturgeon (Sandy), his sister-in-law Elaine Rodier (late Richie) and brother-in-law Jim Barrière (Carole). He also leaves to mourn cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Neil, a life-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion served in the Italian Campaign in WWII and is a P.O.W. survivor. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Red Cross in Neil’s memory would be appreciated.
A memorial service will be held at a future date to be decided once the covid-19 crisis is over.
