It is with broken hearts that the
family of The Late Nathan John Kelland
“Jack” of Grand Bank announces his
passing. Jack passed away at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in
Grand Bank on Monday, July 13th at the age of
68.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of
wonderful memories are his wife Tryphena of 49 years; daughters,
Sherry Stacey (Todd) of Fortune and Jackie Burney (Thomas) of Florida;
grandchildren, Justin Stacey, Jennifer Stacey (Dakota Robere) and Joey
Stacey; great granddaughter Emma Stacey; 6 brothers, Reg
(Sueanne), Wayne (Brenda), Earl (Sharon), Gary (Joan), Henry (Cathy),
Randy (Jan); 4 sisters, Judy Anstey, Patsy (Melvin Cox), Eileen
(Wilson Kearley) and Lorriane (Keith Cooper); sister-in-laws, Betty
Kelland, Rose (Wayne Bungay); brother-in-law Colin Hillier
(Dwan);nieces and nephews; special friends Tracy (Chris), Moe (Aseel),
Saif (Shams) and Carolanne (Bryan); plus a large circle of close
family and friends.
Jack was predeceased by his parents,
Eli and Rose Kelland; parents-in-law, Alexander and Sarah Hillier;
brother Bill Kelland; brother-in-law, Wally Stone, nephews, Dennis
Kelland and Joey Kelland; niece, Judy Cox; and great-nephew, Nicholas
Hillier.
The family would like to send a
special thank you to the staff of Eastern Health and the Blue Crest
Nursing Home, as well as to Rev. Dianna Fry.
Due to the current
Public Health Advisory of COVID-19 a private visitation will take
place at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Grand
Bank. Funeral service and inurnment will take
place at a later time.
In Jack’s memory,
donations may be made to the All Saint’s Anglican Church,
Grand Bank or the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, 300
