Myrna Maxine Opstad
(October 5, 1941 – January 2, 2020)
Myrna Maxine Opstad of Forestburg, AB, formerly of Greenwood, BC, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the age of 78 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Connie (Ernie) Kuraitis of Edson, Cathy Opstad of South Cooking Lake, and Michael (Tressa) Opstad of Andrew; her common-law husband Dale Rutherford; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brother Frank (Bonnie) Matheson of Kimberley, BC.
Myrna was predeceased by her parents George and Florence Matheson; sister Linda Matheson; and brothers George and Wendell Matheson.
As per Myrna’s request, no formal service will be held.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Myrna’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
