Obituary of Montcalm Proulx
C’est avec tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de Montcalm Proulx, le jeudi 19 mars 2020, à l’âge de 84 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée Lucille (née Lavallée) ; ses sœurs : Darquise (Jacques Courville), Hélène (Marcel Prévost) et Danielle (René Cyr) ; son beau-frère Robert (Louise) et sa belle-sœur : Denise (Marcel Plante). Il laisse également ses neveux et nièces : Chantale, Louise, Denis, Sylvain, Mélanie, Tania, Daniel, Marc, Patrice, Pascal, Pierre et Éric, ainsi que plusieurs arrière-neveux, arrière-nièces et amis. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents : Eddie Proulx et Valéda Whissell, son frère Hubert, ses beaux-parents : Roland Lavallée et Antoinette Hamel et son beau-frère Réal (Francine). Remerciements sincères au personnel de la Résidence Saint-Louis et au Dre. Josiane Moïse pour les bons soins prodigués. Une cérémonie religieuse en présence des cendres aura lieu à l’Église Saint-Sébastien, 1000, rue Frances, Ottawa, le samedi 15 août 2020 à 10h30. It with great sadness that we announce the passing of Montcalm Proulx, on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the age of 84. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Lucille (nee Lavallée) ; his sisters : Darquise (Jacques Courville), Hélène (Marcel Prévost) and Danielle (René Cyr) ; his brother-in-law Robert (Louise) and his sister-in-law Denise (Marcel Plante). He is also survived by his nephews and nieces : Chantale, Louise, Denis, Sylvain, Mélanie, Tania, Daniel, Marc, Patrice, Pascal, Pierre and Éric, as well as his great-nephews, great-nieces and friends. Predeceased by his parents : Eddie Proulx and Valéda Whissell, his brother Hubert, his parents-in-law : Roland Lavallée and Antoinette Hamel and his brother-in-law Réal (Francine). Sincere thanks to the staff of the Saint-Louis Residence and Dr. Josiane Moïse for the exceptional care. A religious ceremony will be held at Saint-Sébastien Church, 1000 Frances St., Ottawa on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
