It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Monola “Joan” Stewart (McAllister) age 85 years on April 30, 2020 in Pte Claire, QC, formerly of Redbank, NB.
Beloved wife of Cleveland Stewart. Dear mother to Fulton and Gary (Bonnie), mother-in-law to Marianne Hoelscher. Loving Gram of Matthieu, Melissa, Jenna Havenga (Steven), Michelle and Kristyn. Cherished Great Grandmother of Grayson and Kylie Havenga. Sister-in-law of Joan Jones and Temple (Gail). She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Hubert and Octavie McAllister; sisters Pearl Jardine, Fern Delano, Leotta Creamer, Mona, May, and Jean McAllister; and brothers Joseph, Gerald, Freeman, Fleming, Daniel, and John; Sister-in-law Vaunda McKinnon (Mel), and brother-in-law Keith Jones.
A celebration of Joan’s life will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a charitable organization or a memorial of one’s choice.
