Obituary of Michiko Adachi
MICHIKO ADACHI
March 8, 1947 – September 12, 2020.
Loving mother to Sachi and Sarah (Warren), sister to Makoto, and grandmother to Maya and Owen. She loved the outdoors and spent countless hours hiking the Bruce Trail with cherished friends. We will remember her joyful appreciation of music, books, and computers, and celebrate her tireless dedication to social justice and volunteer work, particularly her years of service with Japanese Social Services, the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre, and several Toronto hospitals.
A visitation is planned for those who feel comfortable attending; however, due to COVID restrictions, please confirm your desire to attend with the family by email or phone. A private ceremony and burial will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
In lieu of sending flowers, please consider making a donation to Japanese Social Services or Bruce Trail Conservancy.
