Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Kreutz on August 5, 2020 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 88 years.
Michael emigrated from Germany in 1954 and settled in Regina. There he met Mary Grzesina, the love of his life. They married in 1956 and grew their family of Katharina Grill (Joe), Peter, Andrew, Edward (Rachelle) and James. Michael loved watching the family grow with his grandchildren, Chance, Brandon, Kenneth, Victoria, Christa, Sarah, Ashley, Elizabeth, and John and all of his great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother Katharina, his father Koloman, and his brother Kahlman.
Michael loved taking his family on camping and fishing trips, traveling extensively through Saskatchewan and BC, and adventures to LA and Alaska. Michael worked for the City of Regina in various departments until his retirement in 1987. Michael moved with Mary to Calgary in January 2019 to be closer to his children.
Michael will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
