Obituary
Michael John Naylor made his final journey home to be with His Heavenly Father and his beloved wife, Carol on January 21, 2020 at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Esterhazy, with his children by his side. He was 84 years old.
Michael was born to Doris (Cox) and Alexander Henry Mark Naylor on August 31, 1935 in Earlsfield England. On September 19, 1959 Michael married the love of his life Carol Rosa Biggs. In 1967 Mike travelled by ship and then train ending up in Minnedosa, Manitoba to build a life for his young family of then 5 children and his wife. After several moves and the birth of their 6th child they settled happily in Churchbridge, Saskatchewan.
Mike is and was loved by many, he was very kindhearted and generously helped others especially with his skills as a machinist and brilliant engineer. He was quick witted and was never short of a good story or joke or two. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people smile. Once you met Mike you could never forget him. He could melt your heart.
Mike was predeceased by his parents at a young age and his wife of almost 60 years Carol, in July 2019.
Mike is survived by his brothers, Patrick and David of Surrey, England, His children Karan (Greg) Finnigan, Christine Naylor, Wendy (Gerhard) Klein, Simon, Peter (Rich) and Michael (Pam) Naylor, Cara Naylor. 16 grandchildren- Gregory, Patrick (Maegan) and Michael (Sara) Finnigan, Britta Muehleisen, Christine and Grace Kowalcuk, Natascha (Wally), Alexis (Janee) and Gerhard (Kim), Cole, Nolan, Simone, Carrie and Zack Naylor, Michael and Kaitlin Naylor. 11 Great Grandchildren-Patrick (PJ), Wade, Emma, Ezekiel, Naomi, Dorian, Quinn, Vitjitua, Janee Jr, Vincent and Kleirissa.
The world has lost a sincerely wonderful man and heaven holds a beautiful soul.
