Maureen Modien (nee Neville)
March 30 1938 – August 27, 2020
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Maureen Modien on August 27, 2020.
Maureen is survived by her husband of 62 years Lawrence Modien, 2 sons Derek (Penny), Russell (Lynda). 4 grandchildren and 4 great children, also her brother Brian (Debbie) Neville, and many other people that loved her. Maureen was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, and numerous family members.
Maureen & Larry shared an active life, with family and friends. She loved to read, sew, knit, play cards, and travel. Later in her life, she enjoyed spending time with the grandkids. Unfortunately Maureen was diagnosed and struggled with Dementia Alzheimer’s in her later years.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Miller Crossing in Edmonton for their care and support. Cremation has taken place, and there will be no service.
