Matthew Richard Clayton McGrath Monday June 8th 2020

In Loving Memory of
Matthew Richard Clayton McGrath
52 years
Monday June 8th, 2020 at West Nipissing General Hospital
Beloved and cherished husband of Natalie (Morin) McGrath. Loving father of the miracles of his life, Meredith and Miriam. Proud loved son of John (predeceased January 31st, 2020) and Roberta (Bugg) McGrath. Cherished brother of Roxanne (John Tulloch predeceased) and Tracy (Gord Holmes) and niece Grace. Son-in-law to Richard and Leslie Morin. Brother-in-law to Andrea (Rob) with nephews Evan and Julian, Wendy (David) with niece Artemise and nephew Abraham.
Matt was a hardworking, strong-willed man, who lived his values every day. Never shy to share his opinions, he always stood up for his beliefs. He will be lovingly remembered for his strong voice, smile, and wonderful laugh. Everyone felt his voice and presence when he entered a room and he was loved immensely for that. Matt was devoted to his dogs and had a phenomenal love for them. He ran his beef farm like no other with passion, dedication, and knowledge. He was a dedicated family man. The miracle of his life was his two beautiful daughters who he taught well, and will continue his legacy and passion on the farm.
Matt loved the Lord and because of his trust in Christ’s complete work at the cross, we are confident he is at home with the Lord.
At Matt’s request, a private family service has been held at the Waters Cemetery. Donations to Gideon Bibles would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, www.lougheed.org.
